I accidently left my breakfast at home and stopped into Rouxs with the hope of finding something not too terribly unhealthy for breakfast. Ordered the veggie omelet and was very pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste. Veggies were fresh and crispy(!) and lots of them. Toast tasted like it came from bakery bread. Absolutely delicious and a real surprise from what looks essentially like a (really nice) convenience store. I generally don't like eating out for breakfast, as the meals are usually soaked in butter and grease, but this tasted like a omelet I would make for myself (if I had lots and lots of fresh veggies on hand) :-) Will absolutely be back!
I started a new job in Shirley not long ago and I come here for lunch a couple times a week. The deli prices are great - I can't think of any place else to get such a huge sub for only $7. The Chicken Teriyaki is pretty amazing. The Steak & Cheese is good too - big portion, and the meat is very tender.
There's a "new girl" in town.. and boy can she get the job done! Great sandwiches, stuffed full..fast friendly service, if you haven't visited Roux's lately, check it out..you won't be disappointed!
